“A Night Out Against Crime” in Edmonds, a day to lock your doors, turn on your porch lights and bring your neighbors to celebrate our community’s many valuable programs and services. Learn how to combat crime while meeting your neighbors, local businesses and emergency responders who care and make a difference. This free community event, brought to you by the Edmonds Police Foundation, combines family fun with public safety awareness and is possible by the generous help of local businesses and many volunteers.
At the Edmonds Night Out event, the Edmonds Bicycle Advocacy Group (EBAG) distributes bike trail maps, bike safety skills information and brochures that are provided by Cascade Bicycle Club (Seattle), Community Transit, and Snohomish County.
We enjoy meeting and greeting Edmonds area children and the parents of bicycling age children at this annual event. Often times, these parents discover, for the first time, at this evening event that their child [children] have learned bike traffic safety and bike riding skills in their P.E. class (“Basics Of Bicycling”), which is brought to the Edmonds School District by our joint bicycle training program with Cascade Bicycle Club.
