The Edmonds Bicycle Advocacy Group is sponsoring our 2017 annual Pancake Breakfast fundraiser from 7-9:30 a.m. this Sunday, Sept. 24, at the Edmonds Masonic Center.
Our breakfast is the kickoff for Cascade Bicycle Club’s Kitsap Color Classic ride on the Kitsap Peninsula. Everyone is welcome. The breakfast cost is $7/person, all-you-can-eat. The breakfast includes pancakes, sausages, eggs, fruit, pastries, juice and coffee.
All proceeds go to support bicycling in South Snohomish County, and to fund new bicycle racks around the City of Edmonds. The group also partners with local city governments, non-profit organizations and the Edmonds School District. Community events include kid’s bike rodeos at area events such as the City of Edmonds Health & Fitness Expo in May, Bike to School Day, and the “Let’s Go” bicycling education program in Edmonds School District’s elementary and middle school physical education classes.
You can learn more about the bike rack project in which our group partnered with the Edmonds Downtown Alliance and the City of Edmonds in an earlier story here.
