Regional Bicycle Network Update

Greetings BPAC and Interested Parties:

I’m sure you all have been on pins and needles waiting to hear the changes for the Regional Bicycle Network.  Well, you are in luck!  I want to thank all of you for working so hard with me to put this network together.  This has truly been a group effort and I’m excited to send this email.

The final network maps are now up on our Bicycle Pedestrian Advisory Council (BPAC) webpage which reflects the changes received during April and May and will be the proposed network up for recommendation during the May BPAC.  Please NOTE we will continue to work on the data set for existing facilities and we will have a conversation during the May BPAC regarding the tiers.

Because this email is so close to the BPAC, I included a summary of all the changes so it is apparent what has been changed (please NOTE in maps that pink line = regional bike network, green line = completed segment, red dotted line = network removed).  We will go over all the changes during the May BPAC.   If I forgot to include your changes in this summary file, please let me know and I’ll be sure to add this for the BPAC discussion.

Thank you and please let me know if you have any questions,
~Kimberly
